The first official release of the new season of Star Trek: Voyager has just been released. In a teaser trailer, the crew from the ships Voyager (the protagonists of the series), Enterprise and Exeter, are all reunited and are now following one another. It looks like it will be a good season.
As usual in the Star Trek world, the quality of the transmission is quite good, just like the quality of the pictures of the new season. The new season will be coming soon on Hulu and on Netflix in the US and on Syfy in Canada.
It is, of course, officially announced that 'Star Trek: Voyager' will be returning for a fifth season on Syfy and to Netflix in the US and Canada, along with Hulu in the US, and in other territories worldwide.
The season is expected to air in 2014, with the episode count to be 23. It is also confirmed that in the fifth season the series will be moving to a new location - a series of galaxies, a few thousand light years away.
It was first announced by Paramount Television on April 17th, when it was stated that the season will consist of 23 episodes. It is now confirmed by all sources that the series will indeed return for a new season, but that the number of episodes will be reduced to 23.
The season premiere is expected to take place in the year of the show's 41st anniversary, on January 4th, 2014.
The new season is expected to have a very interesting story, though of course there are no details on this yet.
